8X DVD+RW Support:

Bugs fixed:

During video (with Dolby Digital audio) playback in Windows Media Player, the sound disappears. This happens after DVD MovieFactory 4 is installed.
Program crashes when converting DV-AVI type-2 videos to DVD compliant ones.
Limit of maximum 99 titles when creating Audio-only DVD-Video.
Problem in importing MP3 files when creating music discs.
Failure in burning a DVD-Audio disc when ripping from an Audio CD.
Program crashes on the uvsepa.dll file when using “Recover possible lost audio and video data” with some video files.
NOTE: The Update Pack 2 contains all the updates that came with Update Pack 1 (Build 4.01 ).

A suggestion for Ulead.

Can Ulead please enter a post into the appropriate forum to advise users of the availability of updates.

do you have any idea how many ULEAD specific forums are out there, I don't, but believe me, it's plenty. There is only one ULEAD site for patches. I feel it is a lot easier for anyone with problems, a minority in terms of total users, to keep an eye out for any patches. By the same token, it was published here, though not by ULEAD, but never the less...

Yes I do! There are 15 managed by Ulead and ONE devoted to Movie Factory. My own version of MF is relatively well-behave, but I nevertheless read this forum daily. I do not consult the patch site daily.

And what makes you think that anybody, including me, is interested in what you think of my suggestion. It was addressed to Ulead.

Rather amazed that as a registered user I haven't (yet) recieved email notification of the update, especially as I have a two month old outstanding tech support request for some of the problems (hopefully fixed by the update). You would think automatic notification would go out as soon as an update is available, ironically Ulead keep mailing me to see what I thought of the trial version!!!
