Corel Aftershot 2 noise tool

Post by dlewis15 »

Hi
I'm new to this forum so please excuse my errors if I'm in the wrong place. Each time I open up a photo that looks grainy I reach for the noise tool only to find its greyed out, no matter what I try it will not come to life. I'm using windows 10 64bit but my copy of aftershot is 32bit. I have to to admit when I purchased this program I expected more.

That's not what happens for me on AfterShotPro. You don't say whether you are using the Pro or the standard version. Naturally, when I open a .JPG file the Raw Noise tool is greyed out on the Standard and Detail tabs, but Perfectly Clear is available on the Detail tab for both .JPG and .ARW files. Perhaps you only get Perfectly Clear in the Pro version? I am sure someone else will know that.

Can I ask why you are using the 32bit version? IIRC your license will work for the 64bit version equally well.
