OK, I've got these invitations from Corel to Update using the SP1. Having read the other thread on this, what is/has been the consensus so far? Update good or bad?

My opinion is that the update, which doesn't cause any issues for me, also doesn't do a lot for my workflow. You might want to go to the Corel site and read what the update is supposed to add to the program to see if you think it is necessary for you. If it isn't I would suggest you wait until they come out with a fix for the issues the update does cause for some users.

I uninstalled X8 and reinstalled without the Service Pack. I don't want to see ads in my brushes dialog box and in other dialog boxes. I don't like the new icons on the menu bar that were changed with the Service Pack. I asked how to get rid of the nag screen for the Service Pack update and didn't get an answer, so I have gone back to using X7 because of that. I actually liked X8 until all this started.
