DVD-VR import

WhenI import DVD from my sony dvd-recorder in VR format, can I stop VideoStudio8 from splitting the file into 6 minute chunks?

When I joint the chunks together, without triming, I get a break in the audio/video to the rendered movie

the distortion only happend at a join so if the raw DVD-VR was not split I would not have this problem.

Ignore that, I've just seen a setting on the DVD recorder that explains it, I have auto chapters set to 6mins, I have now switched this off.
