Which other product do you use and how do you download it ?

Immediately asking you what other product you preferred , I clicked onto your link and it gave the following warning ....

well Terry, indeed your security preferences are high to avoid Chinese based stuff.
Depend on your needs you can try this http://www.h264encoder.com/ which is very good.
If you need more selections/flexibility you can try this

I use ver 7.1 which is very good for most my needs

These days, instead of asking you to pay for software, which most people won't do, they take payment for advertising and for offering other "free" apps to be installed at the same time as the app you want. They have to make money somehow!!

If the source is reliable, and this is, you can download the file, and then choose custom install and read each page carefully and say no to all of the other software.

I prefer Freemake, but the download to this is exactly the same.
