Blu Ray plugin cannot install

Hi trying to install the blu Ray plugin on video studio x8 pro but I am getting the following message.
The installed version of the application could not be determined.
Any help would be great

That message indicates that the blu-ray option is already installed

When you go to "Share" and click on the disc do you see the blu-ray option

Can you confirm that you are in fact trying to install the blu-ray option from the X8 patch and not from the new X9 patch

patches are labelled according to which version they are intended for

I purchased the x8 patch but the one they sent the link to was labelled x9, I just presumed the same one covered both

I am not sure of that - my impression was that they are not. I had blu-ray in X8 and had to install the X9 patch to get it in X9 - if they were the same I would have thought I could just install the one patch

I am afraid you may have to contact Corel support for a definitive answer
