Hi folks,
long time reader and user but do not post much...
Just received a brand new laptop Asus running Intel Core I7, 16 gig ram, Nvidia 960M, 128 gig SSD and 1 TB 7200 rpm Hdd and Windows 10 home... Trying to load Video Studio 8X Pro and keep getting this error message on installation
Error 1935
Microsoft VC80 CRT type = Win32, version 8.0.50727,762pvb lic key token = 1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b processor architecture x86
I thought I remember reading here that VS 8X Pro was compatible with Win 10 but from the error message I'm guessing it's not... Any thoughts on this???

Any particular reason you are installing the 32 bit version on a 64 bit machine?

It was a present so I just used what was purchased... Actually, I didn't realize that 8 Pro was only 32 bit... Anyway, I got it to install after investigating the 1935 error... It finally loaded after I repaired all 4 versions of MS Visual C++.
I haven't used it yet but it appears to be working...
