I am using VSX7 Ultimate in Windows 7 Pro and am presently19 mins into my current project. After a few seconds, the cursor changes to a double sided cross and nothing in VS responds, the project will not close and nor will the computer. I have to restart and make windows close VS.As soon as the cursor is moved below the VS screen it changes back to the normal arrow and will work icons in the blue bar at the bottom, ie Word,Start etc.Also the timecode from the project is on the monitor screen all the time.(like as I am typing this)

Looks like you are the sole winner of this culprit, as it happen to you often you better look at when and what type of pressure you do on the poor X7 when it holts
