The dvd is has jagged edges in moving objects and when panning (like a interlace problem). all the video is from Panasonic (720) 1080 50P & Panasonic (870) 4k 25p
the 4k video looks really bad.
this is the setting that got me close to looking ok but i still want it a bit better
MPEG files
24 bits, 720 x 576, 25 fps
Frame-based
(DVD-PAL), 16:9
Video data rate: Variable (Max. 8000 kbps)
Audio data rate: 384 kbps
Dolby Digital Audio, 48 KHz, 3/2(L,C,R,SL,SR)
is there a way to get ok video out of VideoStudio x8pro to dvd without this problem

Re: dvd is has jagged edges in moving objects and when panni
You might be trying to put a ten pound gorilla into a five pound container; sorry for the levity. What I mean is that your video may require significantly higher bit rates to obtain the quality you want, but DVD's can't handle it. Let's face it DVD is becoming unsuitable medium for lots of modern videos captured at high resolution with high bit rates that have lots of detail and motion. I have not done a DVD in quite some time and now use flash drives to distribute videos or use YouTube or Vimeo.
To get more detailed help, post not just the source videos as you have posted, add the bitrate from them. Instead of using DVD's while you figure a suitable lower bitrate video, try sharing (rendering) different formats until you get the one that makes you happy. Panning, by the way, is the most demanding of video captures in terms of bit rate requirement for quality. Do the slowest of pans to get the highest quality.

Its just corel videostudio its not very good software to export out of, the main problem is interline twitter (moiré) when going from 50p to dvd.
DVD is the main market not many people have Blu-ray players, i would sell 1 blu-ray to 50 dvds
