I am confused now by Corel's development process. On their main website it says that the latest VideoStudio version is X9. If you click on that link it sends you on X8.5.
So... they decided to claim that the 8.5 is actually a full upgrade to 9? After many months from releasing it? And what's worse, the rest of the links on their site are not updated with this "new" version.
What would happen if Microsoft would release one of their "Service Patch" for Windows 10 and then 6 months late would decide to call it the newest "Windows 11" edition? Wouldn't that make everyone pause and think?
Corel develpment process?

Re: Corel develpment process?
This has already been raised in another thread. We think Corel is still coordinating their servers for the public release of X9. Those who have bought it so far have been users of earlier versions who got notified by email about the release.
And X9 is a new version, not X8.5 pretending to be X9... Hopefully Corel will have their servers set up properly for the public release which I believe is to be tomorrow (16 February) in some parts of the world at least...

Re: Corel develpment process?
Ah, that's it? Still bad IMO, I was looking to actually buy X9 and I was redirected to 8.5 that I have already have, so... still confused. Especially when I don't know what X9 would really bring new.
