photoimpact Wacom cursor freezing

I work with Photoimpact 6 and Adobe Photoshop 7, making drawings by means of Wacom tablet UD 1212-r. I have the latest drivers. System is
windows xp with sp2. When I woeked under windosme I had no problems.Now when drowing freehand, my penpartnetpen cursor sometimes freeze at the end of the line I have tries all configurations of wacom tablet but no use. When working with Photoshop I do not have the problem. I prefer Photoimpact but cursorfreezing is anoying.
Has anyone had similar problem ?
