G'day,
I have purchased the Dragon Effect Script. I saved it on my Deck Top.
When I try to use it I get an error message.
Please help me.

Can you post the actual text of the error inside the script output palette? Just copy and paste it. I can't really read the image well.

I don't have my copy of the dragan script any more. I am curious though why you have the script on your desktop. Your script should be saved to either your Scripts-Restricted folder or your Scripts-Trusted folder.

Importing scripts into PaintShop Pro
After downloading a script, it’s helpful to get into the habit of storing it in the proper location. This way, it will
display in the Script toolbar. Browse to the following location to paste scripts you have downloaded:
C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\Corel PaintShop Pro\16.0\Scripts-Trusted
or
C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\Corel PaintShop Pro\17.0\Scripts-Trusted
Make sure to paste the correct script version for your system. Some scripts are made specifically
You realise that that version was meant to run in PSP X6 or X7 and if you try it in another version you may get an error message.

I believe Hartpaul is correct, I would have to buy an updated version of the script to make sure but the Dragan effect script that I have (I found it) calls a preset for unsharp mask that is located in the Corel X6 folder program files folder. Worse it has to go to the Languages folder under the English folder. So if you don't have EN installed it also won't work. It's looking for that file. Which means the script is terribly put together.

I realize it's very petty of me but I now remember why I disliked the Dragan effect, it was recorded and never cleaned up. There are so many wasted commands. And using the "RunScript" to run the UnSharpMask just seems unnecessarily complex. Though at the same time it was a very clever way of going about the effect. I just wish it didn't result in so many square artifacts in the background.

I'm sending you something via PM Aussie Perry, this should help you get the script up and running.

G'day Everybody,
It is great to have friends like you. I was getting frustrated because the Dragon Effect was not working correctly. Now that I have been sent an update script all is good.
I managed to complete the photo of my mate in Dublin. He thinks I am too cleaver for words. I am pleased he does not know about scripts. He is complaining that he is getting old. With the Dragon Effect it emphasizes the point.
Thank you all for your help.
Cheers Perry

That's Tanja Säily's script Draganize.
She wrote that for PSP8.10, so very old.
I can't get it to run either, a shame, it's a clever script.
Nice to hear Tanja is still around and selling scripts, but it would be helpful if they worked :-)
