A poster in one of the Annex groups wants to know how to 'cut a hole' in a shape using vectors in PSP.
She has made a Preset shape of an anchor and wants the top hole to be transparent.
Any ideas?
In Xara you can 'subtract one shape from anothe, but can't see how to do that in PSP.

Re: Vector problem
Vectors are not my strong suit so I don't know if this will help or not.

Re: Vector problem
They will have to merge the hole with the anchor, and reverse the contour. That's the only way it'll work in a preset shape.
To merge the vector shapes use either the "VectorMergeSelected" script or the "VectorMergeandCutoutselected" script.
Vector Merge and Cutout Selected will reverse the contour of the last selected shape after merging all of the shapes together. This is similar to using "Subtract" (though not exactly the same) if you have two paths selected.
Here is a tutorial I made quickly demonstrating the normal method, and how to use the two scripts I mention above. It may take a few minutes to process before being viewable online, but can be downloaded immediately if desired.
