Video Studio X8 ultimate will not start?

Hi

I was only using it a day or so ago and all was fine.
Today, despite re starting my computer a number of times it will not start, not will screen capture or fast flix.

Reading my error logs I see this.

I notice yesterday these system updates we installed, wonder if any of them could be the cause?

YES - one of them is the cause - please read topics as directed

AHA Many thanks, ran the hotfix http://dwnld.videostudiopro.com/updates ... tFix_2.exe and it now seems to work ok.

Looks like Microsoft trying to force us to go to Windows 10!!!!
