I may be a coincidence, but after a windows 7 update I have been unable to open VS.It will not open from the task bar or desk top icons.Clicking more that usually necessary brings up a message saying another user is using it and please close that session.I have done a disclean and restarted several times- no joy.When I click on the task bar icon it highlights for a short while and that is far as I get.Can any one help please

I have a similar problem with Windows 7. I turned off my computer and it installed some windows updates. I have now turned it on and both Videostudio Pro x5 and X7 dont work any more. I get a message saying VIdeostudio has stopped working. Problem event APPCRASH Application name vstudio.exe. I have tried restarting several times but no luck. I wonder if anyone has any ideas please.
