In general, X7 VSPs should be able to open in X9 although there may be some compatibility issues with certain features/filters that were applied to video clips in X7. It is due to potential compatibility issues that I keep X5, X6, X7 and X8 installed to guarantee that VSPs created in old versions of VS can be edited without fuss.ct valley views wrote:cannot edit pro x7 projects even though they have switched to x9. they don't open.
I'd suggest that you look at the Corel VideoStudio X9 User Guide (http://help.corel.com/videostudio/v19/m ... dio-x9.pdf) to find detailed information. There you'll find listing of the supported sharing formats including:ct valley views wrote:will x9 render to MPEG2? it's not listed in the share menu. I need to use that format for Public Access TV.
• AVI
• MPEG-2
• AVC/H.264
