In general, X7 VSPs should be able to open in X9 although there may be some compatibility issues with certain features/filters that were applied to video clips in X7. It is due to potential compatibility issues that I keep X5, X6, X7 and X8 installed to guarantee that VSPs created in old versions of VS can be edited without fuss.

I'd suggest that you look at the Corel VideoStudio X9 User Guide (http://help.corel.com/videostudio/v19/m ... dio-x9.pdf) to find detailed information. There you'll find listing of the supported sharing formats including:

• AVI
• MPEG-2
• AVC/H.264
• MPEG-4
• WMV
