make blinking text
Hi guys, I see a few options on how to make a blinking text, but none work well for me. Can anyone suggest a simple way to make a single word of text, in a single title block, blink a few times? I need it in one, single title block. Thanks. Glenn

Re: make blinking text
easiest way is to just repeat the text block along the timeline for as many 'blinks' as you require
easiest way to copy titles is to drag the first one up into a library where it will make a copy and then just drag it back down and space as many times as you want setting it's duration from 1 frame upwards depending on how quick you want the on blink

Re: make blinking text
Hi Brian, yes, I agree your suggestion is the easiest way. However, I actually need three or four blinks in three seconds but using only one (1) title block. I need it in one block for other purposes. I'm just now trying the customize the motion, with the blink paired up with the shrinking and expanding of the text. It looks ok.

Hi
Try Customised Motion add keyframes then changing the Opacity 100% to 0% then back again
100% - 100% - 0% - 100% - 100% - 0% - 100% etc
