Hi
Can anyone tell me what this actually does? Does it mess with anything because when i add a photo to the start of my video,The photo looks a bit pixelated on my tv,It could be because i have a 65 inch tv. I had selected fit to project size.
Resampling option: On photos

Re: Resampling option: On photos
Hi Jezzer
First make sure the resampling quality (F6 edit tab) is set to best, I cannot really explain what it really does but did help when downscaling a HD to SD video?
What the resolution of the image in pixels?
What are the project properties?
What are the properties of your video?
When we use images they are resized to use the project frame size, for HD that is probably 1920 x 1080, so a high quality image of 5184 x 3456 would be downscaled, that would affect quality.
If you now apply a Pan and Zoom that would certainly reduce quality.
So what edits if any did you apply to the image?
Selecting Fit to Project suggests the image was smaller than the frame size, that certainly would reduce quality.
Your image should be a minimum of 1920 x 1080, I assume you are rendering the project to HD
I don’t find a problem when viewing images as a slide show on my small 42” tv

Re: Resampling option: On photos
Hi
It seems that the photo quality was not 100% great,As i just put the picture on a usb stick and played it through the tv and the quality seems to be the same. The photo is
1920 x 1080 looks great on my pc but not so great on the tv.
Thanks for the tips as i didnt really know what Resampling did.
