I use Ubuntu 15.10, 64bit version and 64bit aftershotpro2, every time I want to run it, it doesn't do anything. The problem is here from one of latest 2.3 versions.

Which Nvidia driver are you using? I'm beginning to wonder if is isn't a driver conflict. I know that version 2.4 was working on my system
but, I don't know when it stopped. I'm using 362.18 nvidia driver, which is a recent update. I'm going to try and backup to an earlier
version and check it out.

Re: AftershotPro 2.4 doesnt'work in Ubuntu 15.10 - SIGSEGV
I was getting the same issue, and your thoughts on Nvidia, Toolcrazy, pointed me in the right direction, also Darktable errored on startup with opencl errors. It seems to me that this problem started for me after updating Nvidia to 361.18. Note that Aftershot1 started up normally.
Googling lead me to my resolution, run Aftershot2 (or any software that depends on opencl (Darktable) as root (sudo /usr/bin/AfterShot2X64 %F) once. I can now start Aftershot2 or Darktable as normal user. Seem like something installed with root privileges during the Nvidia update and running as root seemed to resolve the issue.
Hope this will resolve your issues too!

Re: AftershotPro 2.4 doesnt'work in Ubuntu 15.10 - SIGSEGV
That fixed it. I also notice that the directory in my home .Aftershot was all root owned. I had to change
owner and user to my user name to get things running.
Thanks again for the fix.

Well, the only way it will work, is if it is run via terminal with the commands above. If you run it
via the desktop icon, it keeps asking for the serial number and won't run. Back to the drawing board.

The config file permission were still set as root. Change the permissions to your username and everything works great. Up
and running like it is supposed to. Corel needs to fix the permission issues with the installer.

Corel needs to fix almost everything in Linux versions, it's a shame that Photoshop in WINE (!!!) crashes less frequently and is more reliable and faster (!!!) than this piece of .....
