I've been using DVD Workshop2 for sometime now and have never had a problem.
However, recently I've been recieving the 800413a8 error during the burning process.
The program converts the video and audio of the files then throws the error before it multiplex's or finalizes the VOB.
What could have caused this change considering it was working before?
Any ideas?

Could be no space left in the place where you have specified your temp files or they are too heavily fragmented.

Why don't you try updating your burning engine? Check this site:

I actually defragmented my drive yesterday and there is over double the required space needed, so their shouldn't be any problems with that.

I updated the burning engine but the same thing happens.
After browsing the files where the burning engine are, I am wondering if it has to do with the MPG encoding and mulitplexing files that I see, as that seems to be the place where the problem occurs in the burning process
(ie: after video/audio converting but before multiplexing).

My project has 12 titles total. The properties of the source videos are the same as I have always used with DVD Workshop.
All my source material is run through a converter prior to going into DWS so that they are all the same.
I believe they are all VCD quality and DWS does not reconvert them, but it does convert the audio.
I have run a test using one of the source files and doing a quick burn to dvd folder and it has run smoothly, which means the problem must be with that specific project file.
So I may have to try putting everything back together into a new project file and trying it, if there doesn't seem to be anything else to look at.
Edit:
I have just rebuilt the whole project from scratch and the same error occurs.
Edit Again:
I have now been doing tests for each individual source file and have come across one which throws the error meaning that I have found the source of the problem.
It is still extremely weird as it has the exact same encoding as all the other files.
I shall now try re-encoding it or if that fails re-downloading the troublesome file from scratch.
