PSP X8 SP1 Problem with 64b version

Post by jimrooks »

PSP blank page.jpg
Ever since uploading SP1 I get the attached when I open the 64b version. No file menu, no folder names on tree. Pretty much a blank page.

32b version and PSP X7 64b version seem to be OK (except 32b PSP X8 has intermittent save/save as issue and X7 can't open .pspimage file created in X8).

Anyone else having this problem? Any solution found? I tried removing and reinstalling, but no change.

I initiated a trouble ticket 10 days ago and have had no response. Chatted this morning and was told someone would email an update ASAP, but no response thus far.

Jim - when you create a pspimage file in X8, do a Save As and click on Options in the Save As dialog box. This is where you can tell PSP to save as an earlier version.

Hope this helps.

seems like the SP1 totally trashed your X8 according to the screenshot. Uninstall it and reinstall without update.

See this thread for all the problems related to SP1 for X8-http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=58193
