Win DVD 11 will not run again

Win DVD 11 will not run again
Another unsolvable mystery with Win DVD 11. The program just stopped loading and running without a hint of trouble. As before, there are no solutions avaiable.

After some testing, there's a hint of what went wrong. Win DVD will not start when the monitor is connected to the PC by HDMI. The program will start normally, however with a DVI connection. Now, either digital link is supposed to work with DVD's or Blu-ray discs. The mystery deepens.kevinlillard wrote:Another unsolvable mystery with Win DVD 11. Also, interesting to note there are no examples of problems with Win DVD ever being solved.

The mystery has gotten deeper. Two other people on another board have also tried Win DVD and found the program will not run. Is a defective product deliberately being sold?

I finally discovered the source of the problem.
A program called IObit Malware Fighter was blocking the ivregmr file that Win DVD needs to read to start. When I uninstalled IObit Malware Fighter, the problem went away.

Same problem here - the application no longer starts - no errors are given it simply does nothing!

I fixed my problem by uninstalling WinDVD 11 and replacing it with Cyberlink's PowerDVD15 instead seeing as Corel are showing a complete lack of interest in fixing the problem.
WinDVD11 will be the first and last Corel product I ever purchase.
