Got as far as selecting the top left thumbnail menu under the Gallery list and it showed in the preview menu with the image of the 1st clip in the project and its name.Also there was a box with "PRJ" etc in it.Selected hide object as I could not find another way of removing it.Now I have a box of "marching ants" that I can move and resize but can not enter text (VS7) help please

If you want to get rid of it just click any where else within the menu screen
if you want to put text in it right click on it and ' show object' then right click and 'Edit''
