Our latest update adds support for the much-requested Pentax K3 II, Panasonic Lumix GX8 and the new Canon M3. We've also addressed the green hue issue that Nikon P330 and D3300 RAW images, along with a few other fixes and enhancements.

It arrives but they haven't fixed the linux bug of drag and drop. Luckily the same fix works for now.
Thanks.

Re: ASP 2.4 Arrives, Adds Pentax K3II, Corrects Green Hue &
Just did a quick test with my GX8 shots.
Sorry - maybe the camera itself is supported, but none of the Panasonic µFT lenses I'm shooting with is.
Quite every current commercial raw processor is reading and processing the µFT lens correction parameters (distortion and CA) from the RAW files directly, not via some fancy lens table files with parameters from unknown sources. Simply open a GX8 RAW file in Lightroom, Capture One or Silkypix - and that's it.
With ASP I have no automatic corrections i.e. for the Summilux 15/1.7, 42.5/1.7 or 45-175, and these are standard lenses nowadays. (Even my old ZD 9-18 for FT claims to be not supported. Adding pain to injury the only automatically supported lens in my current system is my old Olympus ZD 50/2, and that is a lens which simply doesn't need correction ... After fiddling with the lens profile files for about half an hour to get at least the ZD 9-18 corrections working, I gave up.)
So, ASP might be a good tool if you own a set of supported lenses; but for me processing GX8 files with ASP 2.4 was an utterly unsatisfying experience.

Re: ASP 2.4 Arrives, Adds Pentax K3II, Corrects Green Hue &
Please can someone explain why we only get 64bit versions of releases for Mac not 32bit and 64bit.
The other platform versions of ASP have both 32 and 64 bit releases.
Thanks
BTW The Drag'n'Drop functionality is still broken in the 2.4.0.199 release.

Still learning after all these years!

Among the lenses you listed, 15/1.7, 45-175 and ZD 9-18 are included in the lensfun project: http://lensfun.sourceforge.net/lenslist/ so if you want to give it another shot you can follow instructions in this blog post: http://inphotos.org/2012/03/15/adventur ... rshot-pro/ (Although, with one lens in your bag not supported it's still a pain. I hope they add the parameters for my P25/1.7 soon or I'll have to measure it when I have time.)lathspell wrote:Just did a quick test with my GX8 shots.

Re: ASP 2.4 Arrives, Adds Pentax K3II, Corrects Green Hue &
Thank you Tom, but after two months with Silkypix 6 Pro and giving the recently published Silkypix 7 Pro a try I'll stick to Silkypix.
I do miss ASP's capability of creating and managing versions from one RAW in a simple way. I do miss a few plug-ins. Silkypix is significantly slower on export. But pretty much everything else (lens correction, highlight recovery, denoising, demosaicing, sharpening etc.) is way better concerning my GX8 and µFT lenses, plus it has a decent multi-display GUI.
Looking forward to testing ASP 3 or 4 in a few years.

Re: ASP 2.4 Arrives, Adds Pentax K3II, Corrects Green Hue &
Is there any plan to fix the WB presets for Panasonic GM5? All except "as shot" produce green hue of various intensities, very similar to what B4 did to D3 files at the "initial support" stage.
Same for D800e presets, though to a lesser degree.
