X7 Suddenly Stopped Working

I'm sorry, I've read through this forum to search for a solution but I haven't found any so I'm posting at the risk of redundancy.

I've been successfully running X7 since August with no problems at all and I am a heavy user.
Yesterday after a restart it stopped working.
Whenever I attempt to start the program it stops at about the Loading Palettes mark and gives me the generic, vague and wildly frustrating error message "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly."

I am (unfortunately) running Windows 10 on a new-ish HP Envy.'

I'm afraid I'm not a computer whiz so I'm being honest that I'm sort of nervous about posting here for fear of not understanding how to do something I should be doing...so I'm humbly seeking some help :?

Thank you in advance for any direction you might be able to provide. I've contacted Corel but haven't heard back yet.

Can we assume you have rebooted your computer and it still doesn't work? Have you tried resetting the program by holding down the Shift key while clicking on the desktop icon for X7? Or does Run As Administrator make any difference?

Yes, I've rebooted...held the shift key, run as administrator. Still the same error message.

I also downloaded the X8 trial and some other Corel product and nothing will open...same error message.

I shut down anti-virus, shut off pop up blockers, run diagnostics, cried :wink: I cannot for the life of me figure out what is going on, particularly since I have had no problems all this time.

It was the Wacom driver that was causing the problem.
