Hi all,
Any chance someone could explain to me what I'm doing wrong resizing an image, or point me to a tutorial that explains what I should be doing?
I use X6 to cleanup PDF files that have been converted to .JPG files and then import them into a program to create graphic pages for a building automation system.
The problem I have is that the files when converted are quite large and I need to scale them down to around 1000x700 pixels.
When I resize them they end up being quite blurry and the lines look very soft. However, when I have the image opened and click the button to fit the image to my screen size, it looks perfect with nice clean lines. How can it be displayed in a size that fits the window perfectly, but when I resize it it looks horrible?
I can get better results opening the image in X6 and then using the snipping tool. I know I'm doing something wrong, but I'm not sure what.
Any help would be appreciated!
Dan

Re: Resizing image in X6
Are they blurry after the resizing or only after you have saved them and reloaded them.
Have you checked your compression (under Options) when you do a Save As. Best quality will be at about low single numbers. The default may have been left at 20 which compresses too much.
