Unable to install AfterShot 2

I just bought PSP X8 Ultimate and was able to install all the bonus software on disk 2, including Perfect Effects 9. But every attempt to install Corel's AfterShot 2 brings up the following error message.

"Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid.
C:\Windows\Installer\{BAA5BA4A-6F64-4592-BF53-298FB063A73D}\1033.mst"

I navigated to the folder in my file manager and notice that the alphanumeric subfolder contains two files, 1033.mst (136 KB) and ARPPRODUCTICON.exe (392 KB).

Anybody know the trick of how to install AfterShot 2, or is my copy defective?

I bought online PSP Ultimate X8 was supported very well

Corel did respond to my first missive. I'll wait a few more days.
