Is Corel labeling trialware a "bonus"?

I just purchased PSP Ultimate X8. On the "Bonus" disk, there are four programs:

- Athentech Perfectly Clear v2 Special Edition
- Ultimate Creative Collection
- AfterShot 2
- Perfect Effects 9

After installing the bonus software, I was prompted for the S/N for AfterShot 2 and Perfect Effect 9, and notified they are only 30 day trials. Is Corel labeling trialware as a "bonus," or did the S/N's not ship with the box? I ask here because I'm not able to get a response from Corel support. I notice that "Perfect Effects Free 9" is offered as "Free" software at onOne's site; but, after the labor of cleaning the registry of the trialware, I hesitate to install the free version fron onOne as terms like 'bonus' and 'free' no longer appear to mean what they used to. I think now 'free' means free to try. Anybody run into this problem?

Did you buy direct from Corel?

Admittedly my copy of X8 Ultimate was a bit different than normal (Gifted to me) but the email I got did include a serial number for Aftershot Pro. As well as the On1 Perfect Effects 9.5 product code. So I don't know how it's supposed to be sent normally.

But yet a serial number should have been provided. Either in the box, or after registering your copy of X8.

If anyone else can confirm these are trial versions please post. If so, a new low for Corel as the way I read it they would be bonus items in Ultimate as Perfectly Clear is.
As far as OnOne's free download on their site, I've used several versions and it is truly free- they just get you to sign up for their newsletter attempting to sell you their full suite.

I purchased and downloaded my PSP X8 online, and received all the programs you listed. Mine are not trialware, they are full versions BUT I received separate serial numbers for all of them to activate them. I suggest there must be a process you have to follow to activate them. Maybe contact Corel if you are stuck.

Oops! I just found the disk sleeve I misplaced with the S/N's. How embarrassing. Sorry for the inconvenience.

"AfterShot 2" fails to install. I posted the error message I get in the "AfterShot" section of this forum, the subject title is "Unable to install AfterShot 2."

Hopefully someone will be able to explain how I need to respond to the error message.
