Text gray out

I'm writing text with a photo clip background and I want to save it and come back later to finish the job, so I did Save As into a folder. When I came back later, the photo clip was fine in the top track, but the text, on its track below, was a grayed out on the track and it wouldn't show up in a Project playback. What happened to the text? What caused the gray out?

I think you may have made the text track inactive. Click on the left end of that track to activate.

grey or gray ? - depends on what language you speak - grey if you speak English - gray if you speak American - fortunately most of us understand both
