Which NewBlueMotion to install

Last week i purchased VideoStudio X8 , in the email i had a download link for the NewBlueMotion effects.

I installed this , when i registered on the NewBlue FX site it gave me another file to download. Which I assume is a new version?

which version , one is newer and bigger file size ?

If NB itself gave you the more recent one, then I would certainly install it. NB does update its plug-ins, as does, for instance, Boris, and this occurs independently of updates to VS.

In any case, if the figure 30 in your updates indicates version 3.0 of the plug-in, you are already better off than me since my NB MotionEffects provided with the original VS X8 Ultimate package I received nearly a year ago was only -- and remains -- Version 2.4. But I have never specifically registered it since I have never used it. Maybe I should do so and see what happens!

EDIT: No. It seems that registering/activating the Essentials part of the NB package, activated the lot, so that won't work.

Andy -- I'm just wondering if you have installed the 64 bit version of VS or the 32 bit? I ask since another user has found that with the 64 bit, he got NB version 2, but when he reinstalled using the 32 bit version, he got version 3.0!

I have 64 bit installed of VS and version 3.0 of NB.

When you purchased CVSX8 did you purchase the Ultimate version or the Pro version.

I assume you received an additional file as a bonus to install NewBlue Motion Effect
Can you please confirm.

Yes Trevor it was the Ultimate version of VS 8.5.
