Weird Sync Problem (I think)

I don't know how common this is I had the USB Instant Video CD before returned it will be getting the USB Instant DVD from ADS and I was looking at the old AVI's I captured and I was wondering why the voice of the character would come before their lips would move (Is this a common problem?)

it depends on what speed your audio card runs as sometimes when capturing.

I experienced a problem last year with an analogue card. basically it captured video at 25 fps (PAL) but audio was at 24.997 fps. so you can see audio was never going to keep sync.

I also had a Belkin usb device and it never kept synch. admittedly it was USB 1 capable.

to check out the properties when capturing try Virtual Dub you get an idea there if your pc can hack it or not as it gives capture properties of your clip. Also it is free.

I found that AVI Info fixes up the syncing problem, but after awhile if gives me a "PFN_List_Corrupt" BSOD in 2k, I need a work around for that I guess.
