Hello,
I'm a new VS user, coming from Windows Movie Maker. I make unboxing videos, and I use my phone to record the video, and a separate microphone to record the audio. In MovieMaker,I would split the video where I wanted to take out video, then split the audio in the same place (after I synced it), and delete that portion of the audio and video.
Is there a similar way to edit synced audio and video? Is it possible to merge two separate audio and video files so I can edit them together?
Thanks,
Paul

Re: Merging separate video and audio files
Apply Ripple edit to your sound track,
so after you sync it you can use scissors in Project mode and they will cut both tracks.
Deleting video will remove sound also
