Hi,
I've the "instant project crash issue" on Windows10 with Corel Videostudio 8.5.
After applying the patch delivered by lata(replace the uvswf.vio), everything is fine for me. no crashes anymore.

Thanks for the feedback glad you have fixed the problem.
A Windows Update for Flash has been rolled out to Windows 10 users, this should fix the problem without having to use the Hot Fix.
However there are other issues with X8 that Corel are working on, hopefully a fix will be very soon.
