Re: Encountered an improper argument
Hello, Trevor:
How are you? Long time-no see!
It's like deja vu with this Corel program x8 ultimate,I was at editing after a pause and started seeing a " file mismatch" "15033:10:2" message when trying to import 4k video from my action cam videography.
Then up popped that old buggaboo the "improper argument " "kick in the teeth" when transiting from edit to share!
Corel support offered the same advice that you gave in the first answer to my original post of years ago.
I finally bit the bullet again, uninstalling and reinstalling the program , but this time immediately running the sp3 download and the hot fix 2(the update intended to fix the Microsoft pair of updates problem causer), and voila the x8 is operating as advertised!!
Why doesn't Corel give those simple instructions or incorporate those updates for us CPU challenged learner-laymen?
Mike

Re: Encountered an improper argument
Thanks for the feedback and good to know that re-installing the program and Service Packs seems to have improved things.
Since the first post a new service pack has been released SP4, I assume that is what you have now installed as Service Packs should automatically install.
Go to Help - About, should indicate 21.4.0.165
If not do Help – Check for Updates
Good luck
