Have been using UVS6 for a while with no probs.... till now. Had around 100 jpegs to use in a presentation and went to add them to a newly created image library for a particular project only to have UVS6 "encounter an error" and crash back to the desktop. I tried converting the images to other formats, but sure enough UVS6 would crap out when attemtping to add the images to the library. I finally managed to get the images into the library after reducing the images dimensions. Then when dragging some of the images into the timeline UVS6 would "encounter an error" and dump me back to the desktop. This became extremely frustrating as I have done quiet a few presentations like this without any problems. I had to save the project everytime I went to insert a new image.
I have trawled through this entire User board and Uleads FAQ's with not one reference to this kind of problem.
Im thinking it might have something to do with the type of camera that was used to take the images?? (Dont ask me what type cause I dont know)
Is there a limit to the size of image UVS6 can work with?
Are there any particular properties of jpg formats UVS6 doenst like?
Why is UVS6 doing this?

UVS6 problem
Why don't you try clean uninstall your UVS6 and install it again with an update patch from Ulead's website: http://www.ulead.com/tech/vs/vs_ftp60.htm ^_^

Have tried a clean install, but this did not help. I have not tried updating as info on what the update does does not mention this error. Stil, will have a go tonight. Thanks
