VS Pro X8.5 crashing constantly since SP3

I used to have lots of crashes (running VideoStudio X7 Pro Windows 7) - and upgraded from 4 to 8GB ram and the random crashed disappeared - I think it's a timing issue due to slow hard drives that was part to blame. RAM upgrade was a cheap enough and all-round winner solution for me.

I'm now running X8 on Windows 10 and I can still run the X7 version by the way.

Although the Re-link may be an issue in upgrading to Windows 10, changing drive numbers or moving files?

And the crashes may be WMV type files.

So may not be SP3

Where did you get the WMV flies from?
There are some WMV in the samples library, do you have problems using those?

It's not Windows. I have Windows 7, Corel VideoStudio Ultimate X8 though and gave error but still worked. After the SP3 update constantly began to fall errors, even just clicking on some buttons. Even when you try to view videos of billets are constantly crawling with bugs. I think the reason in the errors of developers.

I have been having the exact same problem. Corel Support has yet to get back with me on how to fix this.
Not only does my VS X8.5 Pro-Ultimate crash on me every few minutes, but it has also lost a few program files such as Instant Project and General. The folders have just completely vanished from the Corel program file folder. This is ridiculous. I finally get an expensive, state of the art PC specifically geared for high quality video editing, and now Corel cant even keep up with Windows 10 Home?
Corel VS X8.5 seems to be quite incompatible with Windows 10 as well as having possible conflicts with the NVIDIA GeForce graphics card and INTEL CORE i7.

Corel, you guys have to repair this, or I would like a refund.
