Corrupted Tiff

I initially set up Gimp as my external editor. It worked once. Now, when I try to edit a file using Gimp as the external editor ASP creates a tiff file that gimp can't open. I tried opening the same file with Photomechanic and it can't open it either. I tried opening the same tiff files using Mac Preview and it says the file is either corrupted or an unsupported format. Anybody know how I can begin to fix this problem?

Ooooppppsss. I figured the problem out. I was doing a quick test of the images and working off of my Compact Flash card. I never do this in my normal work flow. When I moved those images to my hard drive and repeated the work flow everything worked fine.
