Paint Shop Pro X8 or Photo Paint X7

I'm using Corel Products since many years now and wanted to get a new Picture editing programm. Right now I use Photo Paint X4.
I want to edit pictures I shot with my DSLR. Which one of Corel's products "Paint Shop Pro X8" oder "Photo Paint X7" do you guys can recommend me?

If I understand correctly, Corel Photo Paint x7 is part of the Corel Draw Graphics Suite X7, not available as a standalone download or purchase. The Suite costs about $470.00. Paint Shop Pro is available for about $60.00. So it's up to whether or not you use the draw, paint and design tools in Graphics Suite enough to justify the price of using it, or if you are doing what I would call "regular" image enhancements on photos that can be done in Photoshop at a substantially lower cost.

Yes I know that Photo Paint is in the CorelDraw GraphicSuite. And I don't have to pay the full price, there is a Version for students of it here in Germany that only costs 89,95 € and the Paint Shop Pro would be 79,99 € . so the price would be similar for me.

I just don't know which programm of them is better for editing DSLR Pictures. The features from the other Programms of the CorelDraw Graphic Suite are not so important and I still would have the programms from the X4 version of the Graphic Suite if I buy the Paint Shop Pro.

Btw, sry if my english isn't so good understandable, like I wrote above, I'm from Germany.

I prefer PaintShop Pro, I have used the software for many versions, at the moment I use PSPX8, which works well.
