PSP X7 cleanup tool scans a virus

I am unable to add/remove PSP X7. The uninstall dialog box will not respond to continue. Reinstall will also not run. I found the posted cleanup tool on this board

PSPX7_Cleanup_v1.0.zip

but my virus scanner says it has a virus and deletes the download. Is there a set of manual uninstall instructions available for PSP X7?

Don't know what kind of ant-virus you have, but many have options to ignore a program, put it on a safe list or remove it from quarantine.
Besides the PSP clean up tool, you could try the free version of Revo Uninstaller or IObit Uninstaller.
For the standard Uninstall/Reinstall in Windows to not run can be also due to needing to run it as Administrator.

Others have reported the same problem, and it is a false positive. There is no virus with this tool. simply go to the options in you anti-virus and disable it temporarily, do the download, run the cleanup tool, and then restart your anti-virus.
