Hi.
Currently using PSx7.
Is there a way to apply the doge, push, etc effect in a straight (as in horizontal or vertical) line. I've tried a combination of keys such as shift+mouse, control+mouse etc. but no luck.
The push effec tin particular doesn't look too good if applied "free hand" and it would look much better if it were possible to apply the effect in a straight line.

Re: Applying dodge, push, etc. in a straight line
I am getting the push , smudge effects in straight lines if I use the Shift key in PSP X7 (other versions as well)
Click once to set the start point , hold the shift key down and then click the finish point.
This works with the Push , Smudge brushes found on the tools bar under the Paint brush and also with the Push brush found in the Warp Brush.

Thanks hartpaul, that's interesting. I was sliding the mouse rather than clicking for a start point and then holding the shift key and clicking for teh finish point.
Cool feature!
