WMV Compression

Post by rtrdogs »

Hello All,

I'm using Video Studio 9.

I've got a file in AVI form that's at 320x240 and is basically a video background. Looks great in AVI format.

When I save it as a WMV file at 320x240, it becomes visibly blurry and loses a lot of quality. This is the first time I've ever run across this big blurriness and I've tried tinkering with the settings - taking off Smart Render, messing around with the codecs, trying larger bit rates, etc., just to see if anything helped. Nothing changes.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

if you need wmv files, I would recommend using Windows Media Encoder 9 (if it's not already installed on your computer, you can download the free version from microsoft.com).
