I am having a problem getting Video Studio Pro X7 to execute share disc mode. It doesn't matter what video format I am using (I have tried H264 MP$, Mov, and M2T). Program always crashes when I try to activate share/disc. It also fails, no matter what disc format I chose. This is the Event viewer record for the failure.

File formats tried are MP4 24 bit 1280x720 6187 kps, MP4 24 bit 1920x1080 15000kps, and MTS NTSCHDMV Upper filed first 24 bit 1920x1080 VBR16800 Dolby Digital 48000Hz 5.1 384 kps. The second format is a clip that came with the program.
This appears to be some problem in C++ where the file mfc110.dll comes from. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling video studio, and updating/repairing all of the C++ libraries. Nothing has worked so far. Any other thought would be appreciated. The other curious thing is that Video Studio ProX5 has also started doing the same thing. I have previously been successful outputting disc information using X5. I had not tried this with X7 until recently. I have installed a new graphics (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750) card and a 650 watt Seasonic power supply since the last time I successfully produced a disc. Any further thoughts.

Re: Video Pro X7 will not go into share disc mode
Hi
The latest version of X7 is as far as I know 17.1.0.22
Can you go to Help – Check for updates
If updating the program does not improve things…
Start a new project – go to share Disc – DVD this should open the burner module, or does it still crash.
Top left choose Add VSP and browse for your project file.
Does that cause the program to crash?
If yes then there is a problem with the project.
Given that you have had similar issues using X5 it may be your pc setup rather than Video Studio.
As you have installed new graphics, are you using the latest drivers? visit the NVIDIA web site to check for Graphics card updates?

Re: Video Pro X7 will not go into share disc mode
I have found a solution. When you want to create a disc, you have to open a new project with no entries in the time line. When I do this, the disc editing software opens without any problems. Then you can add video clips to the disc editing time line, and proceed with menu setups. This seems a little curious, but seems to work. I have also found that if you create each menu entry as a separate video clip, the menu is created automatically using the clip names, when you unclick the main menu button. Thanks for your responses.
