I just received the Huion 1060Pro tablet and am having problems working with PSP X8. The pen doesn't work in PSP as a brush or clone brush. It works as a cursor mover only. I'm using Win 10, BTW.
The pen button works as left/right mouse button as expected, but when I hold down the pen button (aka left mouse) to brush, the clone cursor doesn't move with the pen. It stays in place. And nothing is painted or sprayed.
The brush cursor moves under the pen when that is moved, but it doesn't paint or spray anything when a pen button is depressed. Either pen button.
The result is the same regardless of whether I have "support tablet PC" checked in the driver window. Same with 32 and 64 bit versions.
If I select a brush and tap the tablet, it sprays or paints at the cursor location, but a continuous line. And sometimes doesn't, if the brush is larger than 100 pixels.
The tablet works properly with CorelDraw X7. All brushes/pen work fine in that program. Seems to work with Painter Essentials 4 and 5, too, although the pen buttons don't work as right/left buttons when drawing (it paints simply by pressing, not by clicking). Only issue is occasional slow response.
The results for the self-test for pressure sensitivity seem to show it works properly, too.
Anything I can do to make it work? Some setting I'm missing?

Re: PSP X8 and Huion graphics tablet
Just got an updated driver from Huion. It improves performance in the 32-bit PSP (the pen buttons work now) but it also crashes the 64-bit version as soon as the pen approaches the tablet.
Anyone else have any ideas?

Re: PSP X8 and Huion graphics tablet
Same problem here, just bought a GT-220 and PSP X8 (W7Pro SP1 64bits) and strangely, when you get into the Pen Display Manager (aka Huion Driver V11.0.7 Build51015) and validate, you can actually draw on PSP X8. But after a few strokes and/or when you select another tool, all you can do is doing tiny dots, even though you press the pen with maximum pressure. Return in the Pen Display Manager, validate again, you can now draw again a few strokes.
It's not only related to Huion, Wacom have the very same problem with PSP Xx :

Tried in Paint.Net 4.0.6 and Krita 2.9.8 without a single issue. I don't think it is a tablet related problem (beside the Wacom driver having to be downgraded to an older one). The way PSP Xx handle pen input seems to be a little bit faulty. The two test applications I used being open-source, I bet PSP coders will have a quick look into them to understand what's going wrong on their side. Now it's just a matter of time, once the Holiday vacations are over.

Re: PSP X8 and Huion graphics tablet
Based on the interaction I have had with Corel, I wouldn't hold my breath on them fixing the problem. Huion have been champs trying to get this working, but I can barely get a support response for it other than "clear your cache, and reset your settings".
Sadly in the other posts you linked to about Wacom, it doesn't appear to be Corel that fixed the issue, but using an older Wacom driver and some other user generated suggestions. I am sorry to say I am already starting to regret my Corel purchase.
I sure hope I am wrong and they surprise us.

Re: PSP X8 and Huion graphics tablet
Perhaps the Pen API have changed, Krita and Paint.NET have followed, but not PSP, hence requiring you to downgrade the Wacom driver to get the correct "pen-driver-psp" chain :/ Yeah, it would be cool Corel to get an insight into the issue, but perhaps they don't believe their Jasq-acquired software being good enough for digital painting worth the trouble.
