Hmmm... that link takes me to the Update page and the SP1 link shows. But when I click on it I am told "File not found"!

I also tried checking for updates from within PSP X8 but got the message "No updates found at this time"... And the Corel.com Updates & Patches pages only shows Help Files for PSP... So it appears something has gone wrong with the link or the SP has been pulled...

Ditto..
The Help Files are fine, but not the Service pack :-(

I then looked at corel.com>support>paintshop pro>patches + updates.
No X8 service pack mentioned only Help Files.

Link has been corrected and only shows the Help files. Looks like SP1 is not quite ready yet.

Considering a few of the enhancements they proposed while it was up, I would honestly hope they're getting it thoroughly tested before release.

Hi Folks,
We had some late-breaking issues discovered, I wouldn't use that link. Expect to see the patch mid week next week.

Hi everyone,

On behalf of the Corel Photo team, I'm happy to announce (along with Carole who beat me to the punch earlier today  Thank you, Carole) that the PaintShop Pro X8.1 update has officially been released! The whole team has been really excited to share these new updates and enhancements with you, and Greg has left a few notes about the new X8.1 over on the blog. Here's a link: http://bit.ly/1Zm4XRs

I'll be keeping an eye on this thread so, if you have any feedback related to the X8.1 update, please reply below or send a direct message and I'll be back in touch soon. Thanks.

"late-breaking issues discovered"

Unfortunately at least for me it appears not all the issues were resolved before this was released, with SP1 loaded much of the text is not shown (screen shot attached), I have uninstalled PSP and reinstalled...works great till I again let it install SP1 which again gives me the same result so its clearly a problem with SP1.

Even the small text on the bottom of the splash screen does not show up.

Yes I contacted support about it...just letting others know of the problem

Hi Pathfinder,
I don't observe this issue on my system.
How do you get "File format association" in Manage mode ?

That window comes up on initial opening of PSP and will continue to show up if you fail to click the "don't show this again check box"

This is from PSP without SP1 installed notice all that is missing when SP1 is installed on my system
