Burger free transitions and vs x8

Overview in videostudio X6 of Burger transitions
Overview in videostudio X6 of Burger transitions
There was an old amazing free transitions pack provided by old forum member Stephan Burger that could be downloaded from his site which is not available anymore (i used it since VS X2):

http://www.burgers-transition-site.de/index.html.

I didn't find anymore reference of this package on the net. I repackaged a zip file of these old transitions (20 of them). Because it was freebees, i guess there is no problem to make it available to this forum as a backup solution (attached to this thread).

You can see also (attached) a screenshot of vs x6 of all these 20 transitions. To install these transitions which are working correctly in a 32 bits version of vs (don't know for 64 bits?), close videostudio, unzip the attached 'burger.zip' to the 'Vfx_plug' directory of your vs installation:
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio Ultimate X6\Vfx_plug
(example for vs x6 under windows xp)
and restart videostudio.

As can be seen in the attached picture for x6, these transitions were originally sorted in a 'burger' directory. I have tested them in VS X8 (probably the same for X7 as well) and while they do not sort in 'Burger' transition folder anymore, they can still be found in the transition section if you select 'All' transitions. To detect them more easily, i added all these 20 transitions to VS X8 'my favorite' transitions, helping with the x6 picture attached and they are now working as the old days :D

I remember these and liked them. Thanks for sharing them. I think X8 has so many transitions that their value is not as high as they were when they were first made available. I'm pretty sure they will not work for 64-bit version of x8.

There is no need to do this. i have just completly rebuilt videostudio user directory and the Burger directory appeared in VS X8 transitions correctlyy like in previous old version of VS.

On my system, i needed to follow this procedure:
http://howto.corel.com/en/c/How_to_manu ... t_Settings

Warning: don't do this without exporting a backup of your library because you will loose all your settings.
