Two things:
1) When I put a vector shape in an image, I haven't been able to find the magic location on which I can right click the shape and select "Properties" in the context menu. This wouldn't be a problem if "Properties" in the Layer pane's context menu allowed me to change the colors, but for some unknown and absurdly arbitrary reason, it DOESN'T. What's the secret?
2) I have somehow gotten the program into a mode that only shows four items in the context menu when I right click an image. At this point, my only recourse is to uninstall the app and reinstall it again. How do I fix it without having to do this?

Re: X7 Vector Shapes
1) You can change the color from the properties dialog of a vector object. But remember, here is a difference between a vector object and a vector layer. A vector layer is the top most piece of a vector. It holds many vector objects inside it. This includes vector groups. You need to open the vector layer by clicking on the "+" symbol next to it. Then selecting the object you want to edit the properties of. Right-click that object and go itno the properties. These properties will have a foreground and background swatch, an area to change the stroke width and line type.
2) You can reset a menu by either resetting the menu on its own, or by resetting the entire workspace.
To reset a menu you must use the Customize dialog box found under the View menu.
View -> Customize
In this dialog is a "Menu" tab. Click that and you'll see two options, Application menu and Context menu. When you select a menu from the drop-down list under "Context menu" the menu will open up in a window so you can see what it looks like. Find the menu you want to reset. Then click the Reset button to restore it to defaults.
If you just want to reset everything back to factory defaults, not just the one context menu, you can reset the workspace. To reset the workspace close PSP. Then re-open PSP while holding the SHIFT key. It'll ask if you want to reset to factory defaults. Click yes. And it should appear as if you've just reinstalled the program without actually going through the hassle of uninstalling and reinstalling.
