It was only today that I hit a snag! On one of my multi-layer projects (originally created in PSP X2, but worked on many times since in PSP X7 ...) I selected some already-existing vector text with the Text Tool and then tried to use the Font drop-down list to experiment with a different font type. PSP X8 threw a wobbly by freezing and then producing a pop-up that states: "Corel Paintshop Pro X8 (64bit) has stopped working".
By selecting the 'View problem details' within the pop-up I get an example of this:
After this, the only options available are to "Check online for a solution and close the program", or just "Close the program"! Selecting the check online option finds nothing, and the program ends up closing anyway!Problem signature:

I thought I would see if there was a similar problem with the co-installed 32-bit version of PSP X8 and sure enough, it does the same thing! I went back and attempted the same process in both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of PSP X7 and was very surprised to find they are now also suffering from this problem! Darn!
It is my suspicion that the installation of PSP X8 has caused this issue, because this has only occurred since then. I have not done any Windows updates or similar such stuff since installing PSP X8, so I am at a loss to otherwise explain it.
Has anyone experienced a similar problem and/or can tell me what the gobbledygook in the 'Problem signature' above really means?
Thanks all!
PS: I have kept both versions of PSP X7 installed until I am more familiar with X8 (and happy that it will work!). Although not copied and pasted here, I assume the 'Problem signature' details will be similar - please let me know if you want to see details from those.
