Before I am posting here, I asked Corel this question. I received no response. So I
will try here.
I bought my copy of PSP 8. Now, if my computer ever crashes and I lose my PSP,
would I have to buy another copy of PSP, or would Corel replace it?
Thank you...Carl
I asked Corel a question and got no answer...?

Until very recently the answer to that would have been yes - but Corel seem to have changed their website and as far as I can see it is no longer possible to access your past orders and download again
but sensible people have always made a copy of the downloaded programme on a DVD - or an external hard drive - or USB stick - so that if you do have a crash you just get your back-up out and reload it.

I have not ordered a product in quite some time. However, here is what I know and what I'm seeing.
Corel downloads have an expiration date. You should still be able to download from your account but only up to 30 days after purchase. If your download link from the confirmation email doesn't work, and you can't see the download in your account on Corel.com, but it's still within the 30 day window you should be able to request a new download link direct from Corel. If they don't respond to Email try calling them on the phone.
You have a longer download window if you bought the extended download warranty. I don't remember how long that is. So like Brian said, once you've downloaded it, make a backup.
You should still have access to all registered products and their serial numbers so even if you don't have the full download you should be able to activate the trial.
If you bought the "Ultimate" edition you should be given the option to download them from your account, or from the email. Again, if it's within the 30 day window you should be able to request new download links from Corel.

I wanted to thank you all for reminding me that common sense is the answer. I backed up PSP
to a memory stick today, so if anything happens to my comp, I still have the program. You
guys are better than Corel!!!!! Thanks, again.....

If you haven't done so, you might want to do that for all of your important programs, pics and documents. Getting a secondary hard drive (external if you don't have slots for one in your computer) isn't very expensive nowadays, particularly compared to the cost of many programs or the mental/emotional/time or other costs of losing treasured photos or important documents.cbeigle54 wrote:I wanted to thank you all for reminding me that common sense is the answer.
