my start screen is black is it suppose to be black?
in the setup menu when im picking my menu screen picture, when i double click on the square in the menu to pick a picture my start position is black it doest show anything so i cant see what i want to pick for the menu picture
why start screen is black

Could you describe in more detail exactly what's happening and what your doing?
What "Setup" screen are you talking about.
It sounds like your talking about the "Menu Creation Screen"?
Can you preview the video from the "Timeline"?
Does the video play if you hit "Next" to Preview in the dvd player simulator?
What version of MovieFactory are you using. Trial, MF3/4?
