I have just recently upgraded a computer from Windows 8.1 Windows 10| Professional
Last night I downloaded and installed PSP X8. After the installation I attempted to start the application. What I received was Corel Paint Shop Pro.exe Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point crtCreateSymbolic'sLinkW cannot be located in dynamic link library C\\Windows\system 32\MSVCP110.DLL.
On the same computer, I also have PSP X5, PSP X6, and PSP X7. After discovering the problem that I was having with PSP X8, I then tried launching PSP X5 and it did so okay. I then tried PSP X6 and it also worked, but when I tried PSP X7, I got the same results as with PSP X8. The very same error message. I know this should probably be addressed to technical support, but if no one has the answer to my problem, can you please tell me how to contact technical support? Thank you.

Yes, I would definately contact Technical Support. You would have received email after purchasing PSPX8, does it not give you information on that? Or, you can log into your Corel account and contact support from there. You will receive support free as you have only just purchased X8. Let's know how you go?

I contacted technical services, but I have not heard from them. I suppose they are very busy.
I have some good news that I would like to share with everyone. I have solve my own problem. I first did a web search, there were lots of stuff posted some about doing a regedit and there was one about an old program from Microsoft I tried that one but it was rejected because the MSVCP110 DLL file older than the one installed on my computer. After sleeping on it and decided to check the system 32 folder on another computer running Windows 10 and discovered the file was installed on it. I copied the file on disk and brought it to my computer and copy it and paste it it to the system 32 folder on my computer I had to push the overwrite tab to complete installation. PSP X8 started immediately after pressing the start icon.
PS I would like to thank everyone for their concern.
